In 1992, as the company Plasty Mladeč (PM), we started producing extruded plastic profiles to assemble pocket air filters and welding wires. In 2007, Ing. Jan Přindiš, a recent graduate of Palacký University and Baťa University, joined PM, and it was he who later came up with the idea to start producing filaments. This happened in 2013, and thanks to his contribution, the Filament PM brand was born, under which we produce our filaments.

We are a leading manufacturer in the Czech Republic and have maintained a high-quality standard for our products for a long time. = ECOLOGY AS THE PURPOSE OF OUR WORK
Sustainability is not about what we do now. Still, about long-term and hard work that benefits our planet. Our vision is to minimize waste, which is why we have created a program for taking back empty spools, which we then return to production. Sustainability means producing and using eco-materials, building alternative energy sources, and robotics. As the parent company of the agricultural cooperative, we support using precision agriculture processes to reduce plant chemical products, retain rainwater, reduce soil erosion, and save fuel.
We promote the use of our materials and 3D printing in general. 3D printing, as an additive manufacturing method, is a suitable and ecological alternative for every industry.
In 2014, we started cooperation with PRUSA. Specifically, it was produced for their 3D farm. The globally successful MK2 and MK3 printers are made from our filaments. The customer received our PLA Silver filament with each of these printers. Thanks to this, everyone who bought a printer was learning with our filament.

We currently have distributors in around 30 countries worldwide and are still working on more. Our immediate goal is to expand our network across the UK, USA, and Asia. In recent years, we have expanded our distribution network throughout Europe.
We constantly invest in rationalizing our production and semi-automation, modernizing production lines, improving production processes, and directing attention to innovative materials. We started production with ABS, PLA, and ABS-T materials. We were among the first manufacturers in Europe to include PETG material in our offer. We developed a wood-imitating filament, WoodJet, created by mixing PLA+ material and sugar mill cuttings. We do not throw away PETG and PLA+ filaments that do not pass the output inspection, but by recycling them, we subsequently produce 100% recycled RePETG and RePLA+.
Gradually, the number of materials of our filaments increased, up to the current 16 types in 2 diameters and a wide range of colors.
We started with three employees, and today there are over 50 of us. Even working in an office, every new employee must pass a test - make their spool of filament. It is not only about our inclusion ritual but also a valuable experience that will help them find out what they sell, promote, invoice, and ship. They will understand not only the product itself but, above all, our values.
